2011 Cebu Hillylands Reforestation Caravan (Kickoff)

More than 800 employee volunteers joined PBSP for the kickoff of the 2011 Cebu Hillylands Reforestation Caravan. For this reforestation kickoff, PBSP targets to plant 15,000 seedlings on six hectares.
PBSP also introduced environmental education this year with the partnership between the Philippine Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Inc. (PBCFI) and Cebu Ornithological Society (COS). Experts from PBCFI discussed on the unique biodiversity of the Cebu Hillylands, as well as the components of Cebu’s forests while COS held an exhibit on wildlife photography and discuss the mechanics of bird watching.
